Pelton Wheel Turbine Test Rig
The unit consist of a small pelton wheel connected to rope brake dynamometer. It is high head at minimum discharge turbine. Water is given from reservoir to the turbine through penstock. A centrifugal pump is provided to supply the water to turbine. Orifice meter & pressure gauges provided
Gear Pump Test Rig
- Motor coupled with gear pump to delivers oil in pipe line
- Measuring tank with piezo meter to measure the discharge of oil in gear pump
- Storage tank to store the oil for independent circulation
Vane Pump Test Rig
- Motor coupled with vane pump to delivers oil in pipe line
- Measuring tank with piezo meter to measure the discharge of oil in vane pump
- Storage tank to store the oil for independent circulation
Reynolds Apparatus
The apparatus consists of a glass tube with one end having bell mouth entrance connected to a constant head water tank and at the other end a valve is provided to vary the flow rate. The tank is of sufficient capacity to store water for conducting the test.
